Photoxor C1 Toolkit Version 1.7.3 in Beta - Improvements to Tracking and Map

We just released Photoxor C1 Toolkit version 1.7.3 into Beta Testing. This version brings you exciting new features, design improvements and a few fixes.

Interested to explore them now? We continue our public Beta program for this release.

Please feel free to join in. Whilst our internal tests were very promising, there is always a chance that the Beta version might have some flaws. If you find a problem, please let us know to improve the release version of Photoxor Toolkit.

The new main features of version 1.7.3 beta are:

  • Map screen: In Cluster mode overlapping markers fan out for easy selection
  • Tracking screens: Design improvements.
  • Widgets fixed!
  • A number of smaller fixes.

Tracking Screen

We rearranged some of the buttons. While tracking is active, an orange round floating button in the lower right corner brings up the selection:
  • Record an audio message
  • Take a photo
  • Save the current location

Map Screen

The Map screen provides a large number of functions. Until now we had a slider at the bottom of the screen. The new design removes the slider function and brings together all function into the bottom section.
Again here you find a new orange floating button at the lower right corner. Pressing this button brings up a number of additional functions to enrich the map with tracking and ephemeris information.

Sometimes you might have markers at the exact (or close to) location, and consequently they overlap. This made it hard to select one specific marker.
In the Cluster mode, once you zoom in to the maximum, these overlapping markers will fan out and separate. Now it's easy to make the right selection.

Have a try using these new features. Please let us know what you think!
